Tasting Note:

The oak is less evident than on the 2014. Well-padded fleshy flavours of yellow plum and citrus together with more characterful, savoury notes of herb, stone and almond which add plenty of interest. A fascinating and unique wine. Fermented in cement vats (50% of the grapes are whole bunch) with 48 hours skin contact. Ageing then takes place followed by ageing in used oak barriques without any malolactic fermentation. Bottled without filtration on a descending moon.
