Tasting Note:

Open-knit, ripe, sweet, dark-fruit, mixed with notes of mineral, iron, tobacco and balsamic. There is an appealing austerity here to counteract the sweet fruit; the fine grained tannins providing edge and definition to the wine. Powerful and savoury, but rewarding and expressive.
