Tasting Note:

A mini ginestra, this is top value, characterful Nebbiolo that all comes from the Ginestra vineyard. Half of it is from the east and west facing sites, the other half is declassifed wine from the south facing sites. Only 3000 bottles were made. Ageing is in large casks for a year with the 3 months in smaller barrels. Tremendous personality, a very clear rock mineral and dark fruit Ginestra character. Velvety, full bodied and full of fresh bramble and dark cherry fruit mixed with iron, stone and blood orange notes. Serious Langhe Nebbiolo that is great now but has a good couple of years ageing potential.
