Tasting Note:

Austere and brooding initially, but with a little air and encouragement fresh floral and wild strawberry notes appear above the surlier backdrop of dark fruit, spice and scorched earth notes. The wine is dense-packed and monumental, but there are many layers of complex fruits and minerals lying beneath. Most impressive but this will need time.
