Tasting Note:

Sapid notes of pine mixed with rich black cherry, forest berry and kirsch characteristics. Glossy and polished, a very suave take on Aglianico. Rich but nicely-weighted clear and very pure. Planted on clay and tufo soils with a south-east, south-west and north-east exposure between 420 and 460 metres above sea level. Aged for between 14-18 months in oak barriques from a Burgundian cooper which are replenished every three years.
