Tasting Note:

(One of !) Luca’s new babies. The great Rocche di Castiglione in the hands of Luca Roagna, what a prospect. This is the inaugural release. A 0.45ha plot perched on a steep cliff edge to above the Roagna cantina in Pira. 360m altitude. South facing, 50 year old vines planted on compact, white stone and sandstone soils. A luminous, nervy, fine-boned wine of crisp crunch, showing red strawberry and pomegranate fruit washed over with salts and minerals.
