Tasting Note:

Headily-scented red berry notes. Aromatic combined with a firm tannic spine. Gripping and intense. Lifted Wild strawberry and cherry fruit but with a little more muscle to it than usual. A vineyard adjacent to but lower than Guardiola, planted on deep volcanic ash. The vines are aged between 40-100 years old. Ageing is for 18-20 months in a mixture of barriques, demi muids and large barrels of used wood.
