Tasting Note:

Moganazzi is one of the mist highly rated Crus in the township of Castiglione di Sicilia, producing wines on the brighter, more gripping side of the Etna spectrum but with a certain charm and allure. The vineyard is steeply terraced and sits at circa 700 metres altitude planted with vines aged between 70 to 90 years old. The entire production is roughly 3,000 bottles plus some magnums. Ageing is 18 months in used oak of varying sizes - barriques, demi-muids and larger barrels.
