    Justerini & Brooks Tasting note

Perfumed, fruit blossom and red fruit notes. Stylish and elegant yet full of energy whilst also exhibiting a focused power. Lightness and intensity in perfect harmony. At once caressing yet vivid, vibrant flavours, notes of silky red berry fruits, sap, cedar and fresh cut flowers with a warming note of woody spices. A truly great wine. Poggio di Sotto is an estate comprising of 16 ha grown on poor, rocky marl stone soils in the prime, south eastern Montalcino zone of Castelnuovo dell’Abate zone at 300 to 450 metres above sea level. Made the traditional way, the Brunello undergoes a long, slow fermentation with indigenous yeasts before ageing in 30hl Slavonian oak casks for 42 months.
