Tasting Note:

This has it all. Powerful but fresh, spicy really complex, salt-infused dark berry fruits. There is a rich and meaty side to this but the fruit is present , clear, well-defined and not too warm. Superb. The Riserva generally comes from some of the estate’s higher vineyards between 250 – 350 metres above sea level where the estate’s oldest vines are (over 70 years old.) The wine is aged for a maximum of 42 months in cask , a mixture of Slavonian oak vats and small French barriques.
