Tasting Note:

Bold, open and highly-charged. Open, juicy and velvety flavours, full and voluminous dark berry and blueberry fruit with seductive floral violet notes. Big but smoothly textured, an extrovert. A south, southwest facing parcel in the Novello commune. The tendency of the resulting wine is more towards power and volume and as such the Vietti's prefer to harness this strength by ageing it in large old casks only, whereas the other crus also spend some time in smaller barrels.
