Tasting Note:

The most elegant and moreish style of Amarone you’ll find. For sure there is power and richness but the Viviani’s craft an Amarone that feels fresh and energetic too. Simply gorgeous. Lovely red fruit flavours of bright red cherry, strawberry and cherry liqueur mixed with hints of cocoa. These hover across the palate and fan out impressively on the long finish The Viviani style of Amarone verges more towards elegance and freshness, the high Mazzano vineyards help this style and the Viviani’s enhance this by not allowing fermentation and maceration to go on too long, which is often responsible for developing those typical raisiny, cloyingly sweet dried characteristics of bog-standard Amarone. This was fermented after three months of the grapes drying in the Vivanis’ windy storage house.
