Tasting Note:

The intensity of an Amarone but with the freshness of the straight Valpolicella, notes of fresh and dried cherry, red berry, salt smoke and cocoa. This has structure and depth yet is smooth, clear and uplifting. A single vineyard Classico Superiore aged in oak barriques. The Superiore is somewhere between Valpolicella and Amarone in style, made from partially dried grapes, aired in the Vivianis windy storage house for one month (as opposed to three for Amarone.)
