Tasting Note:

There's an element of champagne yeast and savoury chalk to this. Tres mineral. Stones and fine patisserie bleeds into yellow grapefruit and soft chalk tuffeau on the palate. Concentrated and almost plump before the arrow like intensity of Hauts de Husseau rises up in the finish. Extract laden, chewy almost, and very persistent. Formerly known as Remus plus, Hauts de Husseau cuvee comes from multiple high old vine parcels of between 60 and 100 years old planted on poor soils with high chalk content. The wine is fermented in primarily old barriques using wild yeasts.
