Smart stuff. Dark cherry fruit, strident acidity and plenty of depth - blind this could easily be mistaken as hailing from somewhere Burgundian. Could be to the Côte de Nuits what Chablis is to the Côte de Beaune? Volume and raciness. All flowers and crisp dark fruit. This is on song. Deep bright Pinot fruit and judicious use of oak - a touch of smoke and cool dark minerals that command the finish.
