Tasting Note:

One of the great vineyards of Sancerre whose Oxfordian limestone soils produce wines of complexity, nerve and depth - an amplified version of Sancerre that often requires a few years to be at its best. The nose here is all about stones, you can almost smell the small white fractured pebbles, then on the palate a touch of flint, ripe citrus, honey, green olive and blood orange pith. Relatively heavy in extract and structure, this is a bold, intense Sancerre from a warm vintage that needs a little food to come alive.
