Chardonnay, Block 6, 2017

Tasting Note:

Unlike the Bannockburn Chardonnay, the block chardonnays are all made from the famous Mendoza clone, giving a distinct citrus edge to the wines. This has a very different profile to the Block 2 Chardonnay. North facing, so a hint warner and sunnier, this clearly has more body and texture. Perhaps more depth of flavour, too.
