From the Cornish Point vineyard, where the proximity to the water creates its own special meso climate. The Cornish Point is always one of the darker and more sensual wines in the cellar. The 2016 does not disappoint, a nose of black cherry and violets followed by a luscious, silky palate bursting with rich dark forest berry fruits, a touch of mocha and a long expansive finish. Aged for 13 months in a quarter new burgundy barrels.
