Tasting Note:

Notably richer and riper than the Bannockburn but perhaps a more reserved and restrained Cornish point than usual. Compact but silky-smooth flavours of loganberry, cherry, spice and liquorice. There is plenty to like but you sense there is even more to come from this given a few years in bottle. From the Cornish Point vineyard, where the proximity to the water creates its own special meso climate. The relatively deep loess soils here usually yields wines of opulence and generosity. Fermented with 25% whole bunches and aged for 13 months in a quarter new burgundy barrels.
