Tasting Note:

A fascinating variety indigenous to the Jura that, in the right hands, gives the most unique and extraordinary wines. Pale in colour, fragrant with strawberry and rose petal aromas. On the palate the juicy red berry fruit is accompanied by a twist of black pepper, together with background notes of smoked meat and woody spices. Silky in texture but so bright and poised, fruity but savoury. Its paradoxical flavours are brought together in complete and unforced harmony. A totally captivating and memorable wine. Aged for 12 months in large used oak foudres.
