Tasting Note:

Les Bulles d’Alain is Voge’s attempt to spearhead a revival of the historic Saint Péray sparklings. A Brut Nature made from 100% Marsanne, it spent five years on its lees prior to disgorgement. Really unusual and distinctive, it is a large-scaled wine, with notes of pear, apples and scents of the garden, all drawn together with a trace of bitterness and structure. Fully dry and serious in style, a sparkling not so much based around acidity as one of intellectual contemplation and tightly coiled, savoury flavours.
