Tasting Note:

Compact and deep, more surly and less pretty than the Chery, but broad-shouldered and concentrated. Multi-layered flavours of acacia, apricot and with woody spice notes. Full-throttle Condrieu. Aged and fermented in 20% new oak barriques and from a plot of 47-year-old vines where the high clay content in the soils tends to produce full bodied wines.
