Tasting Note:

The Chery vineyard boasts very pure, soft granite soils that enable the roots to go deep, which stand the vines in particularly good stead during heat waves and result in wines of strong mineral character. It is one of the great vineyards of Condrieu. Aged in barriques for a year – 10% new only. The Grand Cru of Condrieu if ever there was one. As intensely perfumed and flavoured as this it is, in never loses a certain class and composure. Long flavours of violet and peach are supported on the palate by a really fine-grained minerality that adds spark to the full, unctuous fruit.
