Tasting Note:

Really alluring silky, dark peppery fruit. Seductive and with a good flesh and structure too. Tayberry, red cherry and bramble fruit mixed with pepper spice and sap notes. Proper definition and structure with a faint hint of warming fruit liqueur character. Ripe and with substance but there is no excess. A blend of Syrah vines in the commune of Chavanay in the north part of St Joseph near Condrieu. Made from 100% de-stalked Syrah and aged in 20% new oak barriques usually for 15-16 months.
