Tasting Note:

A blend of differing parcels from the Gréffieux, Méal and Bessard vineyard, that makes for a superbly harmonious wine that is greater than the sum of its parts. Made the traditional way, Bernard ferments whole bunches religiously every year and ages the wine in used demi muid oak cask. Really deep bright purple colour, equally intense on the palate, velvety black cherry and crème de mure fruit with aromatic violet tones, ample and super ripe but clearly from fruit that was beautifully intact, not shrivelled or over ripened, this wine has a superb chemistry and harmony to it, gourmand but not over the top.
