Bosquet des Papes

Bosquet des Papes has a proud heritage dating back to 1860, now, Nicholas Boiron with his wife Jeanne-Claire, are charged with managing the domaine. Embracing tradition, modernity and technical improvements as well as the preservation of the environment. They recently acquiring 3 hectares of Côte du Rhône and 4.5 hectares of Chateauneuf du Pape vineyards.

Grenache is the dominate grape at Bosquet des Papes with some Syrah, Cinsault and Mourvèdre. Grapes are all manually picked and sorted, then a classical vinification takes place in concrete vats, with an emphasis on ‘the right time.’ Noting that ‘blending and aging are processes, which need patience and precision.’

The philosophy of the domain is to produce long term storage wines, following the strictest Châteauneuf du Pape tradition. Distinctive wines with, tannins, flavours and colour.
