Tasting Note:

Bursting with ripe griotte, kirsch, bramble and fresh fig fruit character. Hearty and robust clearly, but with finer tannins than their other wines. A clear step up in complexity from Coudoulet, too, with additional notes of liquorice, dried flowers and fruit liqueur. Solid, neatly crafted and well-balanced. A blend of all permitted varieties dominated by Grenache (30%), Mourvèdre (30%), Syrah (10%), Counoise (10%) and Cinsault (10%.)
