Tasting Note:

A 100% Roussanne from one parcel, part of which was planted in 1920 and fermented in 50% oak barriques. Yields were the usual 20hl/ha resulting in a total production of 6000 bottles. Crisp, complex and aromatic with the limestone soils coming through strongly with notes of stone, mineral and chalk complementing the ripe greengage, pineapple and peach fruit. Complex, buttery-textured with a citrus twist, full-bodied but restrained, a class act.
