Tasting Note:

The nose initially reveals oak spice characteristics, but these are much less dominant on the palate. Closed initially but aeration and patience are rewarded, as this is hugely complex, powerful and multi-layered. Intense flavours of butter, stone fruit, citrus, honeysuckle, limestone and nut eventually unravel. The unctuous character of the wine is less evident the more the flavours unfurl, there is such depth and concentration here, the aromas linger intensely in the empty glass. This has the potential to be great.
