Tasting Note:

Complex and serious with ripe peachy fruit but crisp and clear at the same time. Impeccably balanced - intense yet much lighter on its feet than 2015. The crisp nature of the wine is characterised by a crystallised citrus fruit character with richer notes of nut, acacia honey, peach and vanilla pod sitting in the background. As intense and deep as ever but the muscle is toned and the power tamed. Rich but without any excess fat. Mighty impressive. A wine that the Perrins recommend you drink either within the first 5 years or after 15 years, the wine habitually goes through an awkward phase in between.
