Tasting Note:

Gorgeous, scented, spicy and sweet red berry fruit with a touch of rose. The palate is corpulent and warming whilst maintaining tremendous expression and precision of fruit. Rich fruit touches of sloe and griotte mingled with asian spice, garrigue and liquorice complete the colourful picture. Hearty and welcoming but with plenty in reserve. A blend of 85% Grenache and 15% Syrah. Biodynamically farmed, these are some of the Rhône’s highest vineyards at 550-630 metres above sea level. Bunches are destalked and fermentation is wooden vats before ageing in a mix of oak barriques and demi-muid for 18 months. 500 cases a year are made.
