Tasting Note:

North meets South, a wine of the borders. Crisp northern flavours with a warming southern lilt. Powerful but controlled and focused. The flavours are intense but seamless - small, clear cassis fruit encased in a velvety texture. A tangy rock salt character lifts the dark berry notes, whilst a warming background sweet spice touch gives this dimension. Stylish and serious. A blend built on Syrah (62%) with around 35% Grenache and the rest is Roussanne. Biodynamically farmed, these are some of the Rhône’s highest vineyards at 550-630 metres above sea level. Bunches are destalked and fermentation is wooden vats before ageing in a mix of oak barriques and demi-muid for 18 months. 500 cases a year are made.
