Tasting Note:

Intense, crunchy brooding fruit. As ever the most powerful, layered and backward wine of the cellar, a tinge more floral and generous than other vintages which makes this even more compelling than usual. Flavours of juicy red cherry, strawberry and raspberry, a strong savoury stone, herb and sap dimension, wrapped in a firm, tight-knit tannic framework. The wine is aged for 24 months in 30% new oak and is bottled without filtration.
