Tasting Note:

A typically reticent Telegraphe nose but the palate is more gregarious than you might expect. Big, juicy sweet fruits expand across the palate with some crunch to the finish adding a bit of bite and edge. Broad, sweet flavours of Victoria plums, hedgerow berry, garrigue and stone. A blend of 65% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 15% Mourvedre and a small proportion of white varieties and Cinsault. Whole bunches from the old vines Grenache are included in the blend. All from the fine La Crau vineyard in the Bédarrides commune from vines averaging 60 years old. After fermentation the wine is aged for ten months in concrete vats followed by 12 months in wooden 60hl foudres.
