Tasting Note:

Round and silky, initially, yet this gains in precision and freshness as it rolls across the palate tapering into a zesty, taut, salty finish. Intense notes of rock salt citrus rind, salted almonds and stones, padded out with a fleshy, ripe greengage quality. Deep and serious Clairette. From the Saint Prefert Terroir in the South of the Appellation with its galet stone, gravel, blue clay and sandy soils. 100% Clairette Rose and Blanche planted in 1940. Ageing is 18 months in a glass globe. A tiny production, bottled exclusively in magnums.
