Tasting Note:

A darker and distinctly more floral wine than usual. Effusive black cherry and violet notes spring from the glass. Gregarious and bursting with fruit, offering flavours of super ripe cherry, crème de cassis, flowers, cherry stone and a touch of black olive. A classic Chateauneuf. Made in the traditional way, with slightly less whole bunch fermentation than usual (20%) and ageing in large old oak foudres. A blend containing 60 % Grenache 20% Mourvedre and 20% Syrah that includes a drop of co-planted Counoise, Cinsault and white varieties.
