Tasting Note:

A blend of 90% Meal and 10% Greffieux planted on mainly limestone soils that certainly seem to give this distinguised Hermitage its remarkable balance and finessse. Powerful but not overwhelming, this is classy and refined, long pure, silky flavours of crushed red berry and blackberry fruits, suave yet with grip, spiced fruits and cracked pepper undertones and nuances of oak spice.
