Tasting Note:

A 4 ha parcel of 60 year old vines from les Bessards where the soils are distinctly more granitic than Meal. The resultant wine is livelier and more structured. Initially strict, this gradually opens up to show wonderful definition, posture and mineral complexity, notes of bright forest berry and hedgerow fruit, tobacco leaf, sweet spice and liquorice.
