Tasting Note:

Full ripe, juicy fruit notes of stone fruit, white peach and lime. Open-knit, fleshy but with a nice freshness and vitality running gently through it. A typical white Clos des Papes blend usually comprises 20% each of Grenache Blanc, Bourboulenc, Clairette, Roussanne and Picpoul. The balance of this blend, though, is weighted a little bit away from Grenache blanc as it suffered with Coulure more than the other varieties. As ever the blend is fermented and aged in steel tank before bottling in late spring after the vintage.
