Tasting Note:

Lovely bright red, aromatic fruits, pliable and seductive but with sufficient enough grip to remind you of this wine’s seriousness. Typical of this estate, this Châteauneuf blend is packed full of fragrant, sweet, lifting berry fruits including notes of strawberry, black cherry and cherry liqueur with herbal touches of fresh fennel. 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, with some Mourvèdre, this is Domaine Pierre Usseglio’s “Traditional” cuvée, de-stalked but aged in concrete cuve and large oak wooden foudres.
