Tasting Note:

A Deeper red than the Ampodium but still with a translucent core. Dense, dark and powerful. There is a tannic brawn here but one that is incredibly velvety and smooth, woven seamlessly into the body of fruit. Muscular, driven and with depth of flavour, this offers compact, ferrous, meaty, bramble and blueberry fruit characteristics with strong overtones of smoke and spice. A complex wine built on very solid foundations as ever but with a distinctly more noble, elegant touch to the tannins. An excellent La Landonne. 100% Fermented with whole bunches and aged in large demi-muid casks, a maximum of 10% of which are new.
