Rosé, IGP Côtes de Thongue, 2014

  Domaine Montrose

A perennial Justerini & Brooks favourite, beautifully pale salmon pink, a blend dominated by Grenache, with a little Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. As ever this is strawberry infused with a touch of garrigue, juicy and supple but crucially dry and fresh. Easy going rose par excellence, it is not surprise this has such a loyal bunch of followers.

Contains Sulphites.

About Domaine Montrose

Situated near Pézenas, south-west of Montpellier, Domaine Montrose is very much a twenty-first century wine producer. Between the forward-thinking owner, Bernard Coste, and the skilled winemaker, Michel Le Goaëc, Montrose are able to cultivate local and foreign grape varieties from Rolle to Cabernet Sauvignon, vinify them to perfection, and then produce beautifully married blends. Fully thermo-controlled steel tanks are used for fermenting and ageing all of the cépages.
