Tasting Note:

A white blend that has Chenin Blanc at its heart. 53% Chenin Blanc, 13% Clairette Blanche, 13% Sémillon, 10% Roussanne, 9% Viognier and 2% Marsanne. Aristargos was the first wine David produced and it will always be a prominent feature of their cellar. It has grown over the years to become one of the Cape’s most highly admired white blends, bristling with bright citrus and lemon balm fruit, greengages, salt and white plums. Perfectly balanced with a gentle, creeping acidity and layers of complexity. Detailed and fresh. In their words, “6 varieties, 14 vineyards, 20 pickings, a variety of soils, one appellation, one vision, one wine.”
