Tasting Note:

“My most personal, favourite wine, because of my love for the Loire.” Production is stable at around 4,000bts per year. Produced from two sites; one in the Polkadraii (100% whole bunch) and a second in the neighbouring farm to Meerlust (fully destemmed). Both herbaceous and silky. 500L casks. The 2020 has the most detailed aromatics of any vintage to date. Blackcurrant, rosehip, lavender and red cherries vie for attention with a leafy, minty freshness borne out of a love-affair with the great Cabernet Francs of the Loire Valley. A lively fresh natural acidity and ripe, persistent tannins make this a joy to drink. Finishes on sweet berries. 13% WO Stellenbosch
