Tasting Note:

First vintage fermented in a large 10-year old ex-Barolo wooden tank, Javi was able to extend the maceration time to 60 days from 40 days, and this feels very successful. Harmonious, sweet red fruits and flowers with good freshness and playful, fine grained tannins, this is a great wine for the vintage and speaks clearly of its high altitude, wiry origins. A blend of four plots averaging 830m - 960m altitude on granitic soils in the village of Cenicentos. South and south east facing. Fermented with whole bunches and aged for 15 months in used oak.
