Tasting Note:

Cami Pesseroles is located off an ancient path between Gratallops and Porrera in a valley called Pesseroles. A blend of 60% Massale selection Grenache and 40% old vine Carignan, from steep, sheer slate heavy slopes, it is both richer and more brooding than the Escurcons. Salted blueberries, liquid minerals, red wild strawberry fruit nuances, liquorice and complex mineral notes. The old vine Carignan gives a wonderful, crunchy textural quality to the palate which is intense and broad-shouldered but highly refined. A dark and sultry beauty.
