Tasting Note:

La del Vivo aptly translates as “the live one.” Sourced from a part of the La Poulosa vineyard in Valtuille, the 2016 is a blend of Godello and Dona Blanca aged in a large 2000L fuder. A floral, tropical quality is married to a savoury, saline persistence. Pithy but with a charge of electrifying acidity that carries it along with great freshness. Mouth-watering but textured and tight and crisp on the finish. Another characterful, untrammelled expression from Raul Perez. No battonage and not racked, just left on the fine lees and bottled after 12 months.
