Thoroughly modern with bright juicy fruit pastilles on the nose, raspberry and red cherry, sweet and alluring. Flashy, supple, silky, with breakfast jams and sweet cassis on the palate and polished tannins. Modern and exuberant, but well made and likely to give a lot of pleasure at a very decent price.
Made by ‘perfectionist’ winemaker, Jean-Philippe Janoueix, this 19 hectare estate is planted with 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot. Only 2100 cases of this modern, polished Bordeaux Supérieur are produced each year.
