The great Graffenberg vineyard produces Grosses Gewachs of great power but also refined minerality. Here conference pear and orchard fruits combine with a complex salt and mineral dimention, the effect a large framed but controlled mouthful of ripe mineral flavours and pear and roasted peach. Powerful yet open this should be approachable relatively young.
