Bordeaux 2025: Château Laroque

David Suire's Laroque is a perennial overachiever and one of the best value buys from the right bank. Situated in the picturesque, rolling hills south-east of Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes, Laroque produces excellent St Emillion at affordable prices. The 2025 is another superb example, exhibiting classical aromas, a beautiful core of fresh fruit supported by fine-boned tannins. It’ll be fun to drink in a couple of years and will no doubt age gracefully for many decades.
